贰null⅞♭ · Eremita Case is a collaborative intermedia composition created by an ecologist, a music theorist, a scenographer, and a composer. We engage directly in a compositional and dramaturgical process.
In Austria, the Waldrapp (Geronticus eremita) went extinct in the 17th century and was reintroduced 300 years later. It is now undergoing a rewilding process. We take the Waldrapp as our thematic focus, projecting our emotional responses and embodied experiences into our artistic actions.
Centering on language and text, we bring visual creation, sound practice, and musical improvisation into public discourse to jointly reflect on, confront, and respond to the challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, and the tension between culture and nature.
